About these prints;
All prints are reproduced where possible on the 250gsm textured paper on which the original art was made. Some were originally on finer marbled parchment paper.
Prints are all priced at £30 and come complete with a quality white 10x12inch mount & backing board, protected by a cellophane sleeve. UK Post & Packing is free.
Early on
I have always been fascinated by the natural world around me. Studying the behaviour of all types of creatures. Mum would not go into my pockets, just in case I`d brought home a “new pet”! I often did! Learning to draw animals and paying attention to their habitat led to a lifelong interest. I still study every creature I find, in their wilderness with a camera, rather than a matchbox.
Current
It`s been a busy few weeks. I spent last weekend laying on a barn floor in a bed of straw at the Royal Highland Showground. I was painting a life-size sheep sculpture! “Flock to the show” is a public art trail that will tour Scotland in 2023 before coming together again at the Royal Highland Show. Featuring around 30 painted sheep by a fantastic array of artists. I can`t reveal the designs just yet, not until the launch, so watch this space…
